The township of Motueka has the backdrop of the Mount Arthur Range of Kahurangi National Park and looks out over Tasman Bay. The climate is sunny and mild, ideal for horticulture. This 'fruit belt' region grows hops, apples, kiwifruit and grapes amongst others.
